What we store and why
Strategy O'Clock is the controller of the little data described here. While a room is open it stores what people type and how they vote, linked to a random device ID, never to a name or email address. We use it only to run the room, on the basis of legitimate interests. Please don't type personal details into a room.
How long we keep it
Everything in a room is deleted when the host closes it, or automatically after 48 hours. Demo rooms never leave your device.
Who else handles it
Cloudflare hosts this website and holds open rooms, as our processor, and may log visitor IP addresses for security. It may process data outside the UK and EEA under approved safeguards. The website sets no cookies and no tracking. The app keeps a random device ID in your browser so a room can tell your vote from everyone else's.
Your rights and contact
You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your data, and object to how we use it. Rooms hold no names, so we usually can't tell which data is yours; the quickest fix is for the host to close the room. Email privacy@strategyoclock.com with any question. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office or your local data protection authority.
